Directions
Apply Vichy Capital Soleil Face Velvety Cream SPF50 just before exposure. Reapply frequently and generously, especially after swimming, perspiring or rubbing.

Protection face
I didn't hesitate to buy this product for myself and for the other half. It is reasonably priced, and I loved it on my face. It is slightly scented, but I don't mind that. Its the first time I have purchased SPF face cream, and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. We only applied a small amount, and occasionally topped it up, as we were sunbathing on hols.

Leaves a white cast :(
Recently introduced this to my skincare regime while waiting for my order from a website based in East Asia. Though it feels nice on the skin and I am generally a fan of Vichy products, it stings my eyes even though I don't intentionally put it there... The formula is very thin and spreads very easily. It leaves a visible white cast on my light-medium NC30 skin tone so would probably work for someone very pale or if you don't mind that...

Vichy velvet touch spf50
I love these sunscreens! Especially the dry touch ones. This one is nice too- maybe a bit oily for my skin type but good in small amounts and smells really clean and fresh!

Doesn’t break me out!
Doesn’t break me out like other sunscreens seem to do. It is scented which some people might not like and can run out relatively quickly but the fact it works on my combination/oily skin without clogging up my skin makes it worth it.

White sheen
This leaves an awful looking white sheen on my face no matter how much I try to rub it in. After half an hour my skin just look greasy. It’s the first product I’m disappointed in from Vichy as I normally got on really well with their other products.

Is this tinted, like a BB cream?
Yes it is. It's a lovely light tint. I have to make sure I pick the right one as I know there's a slightly dark tint available too.
I use this daily. Looks like a foundation...beautiful!

What is this product like underneath make up?

Vichy Ideal Soleil Velvety Face Cream is a brilliant product to protect dry and sensitive skin from the sun’s rays. This cream absorbs into the skin quickly and is non greasy, also it smells beautiful. This product would be suitable to use underneath your make-up and I would highly recommend using a serum (Aqualia, idealia or Neovadiol depending on your skin type) prior to application of the Ideal Soleil Velvety Face Cream.
