Directions
After cleansing and prepping your skin with Augustinus Bader products, gently massage the desired amount of The Retinol Serum over the face, neck, and décolleté
Smooth along your jawline in upward sweeping motions.
Sweep from your nose to your ears and across your forehead and massage over the cheeks to your temples.
Apply from the base of the neck to the tip of the chin and take any excess serum and massage over the décolleté.

Non irritating

I liked the packaging it has a weight to it. The serum feels more like a cream. It is unscented. I have dry and sensitive skin, and this retinol didn't irritate it.

Promising results that may be worth the high price tag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time retinol user in my 30s and my main concern is forehead lines. Before receiving this product, I had been using Sunday Riley's A+ retinol serum daily and tretinoin once a week. The texture of this retinol is almost exactly the same as Sunday Riley but doesn't smell pleasant, but not terrible. It applies easily and smoothly. I was very skeptical of this product delivering more results than my Sunday Riley which is my holy grail and was hoping I wasn't going to like it because let's be real, this product is beyond expensive. Within two and a half weeks, I thought there wouldn't be any improvement in such a short amount of time, but when I looked at my before and after pictures, I was surprised and actually a little shocked. My forehead lines are less prominent - I have one deeper line than the rest and it softened in just 2.5 weeks. I'm still skeptical and will continue to use this for another couple of months to see if I will repurchase this because of the high price tag. But it's worth it if I get quick and lasting results. I received this serum as a gift in exchange for my honest review.

Lovely

Luxurious serum but uncertainty with effectiveness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I would say this feels very luxurious. The packaging is designed really well and the bottle works well at dispensing the serum. I was not a fan of the scent but it does go away. The serum felt very hydrating and applied to my skin effectively because of it. Not sure if I can see major differences but my skin has felt softer. Undecided if continually using will give me the results I am looking for

Lux and effective.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in my mid 40 with melanated and textured skin. I am a big believer in Retinols and have used many brands with various success. So when I was given the opportunity to try Augustinus Badger’s The Retinol Serum in exchange for an honest review, I was happy to try.
First, I love the formulation of this the serum.
It’s similar to a gel cream so it’s not too heavy and works well under make up. It doesn’t make my skin teel right nor did it sting.
I have used this product for two weeks and seeing slight improvement in terms of pigmentation which is my biggest issue… but my skin seems to have a bit more clarity and smoothness. I am encouraged to see more as I finish the bottle in a few months.
This is a luxury product so the price matches that. I like La Mer’s Serum for
Times I don’t want to use retinol and The Serum is actually cheaper! The only thing I would change is the packaging. It come with a stand that just does release and sometimes ends up dancing around the counter. Otherwise the overall package is beautiful and if you want, you can remove the pump carriage inside.
Still if you enjoy Luxury skincare and are looking for a potent product that works well with your routine, I do recommend.

Great anti-aging serum

After using this for a week I notice that my skin looked brighter and feels softer. My fine lines aren’t as noticeable. The cream goes in beautifully and absorbs quickly. It also doesn’t have a strong scent to it
