Great color, doesn't last an hour...
After receiving a sample of this, I fell in love with the color and ordered one. I still adore the color but it fades away so quickly. No matter how many layers I apply, or whether my lips are hydrated or dry, it just fades away after at most one hour of wearing. Very disappointed.

Pillow Talk Lipstick - Matte
(For reference: I am very pale with warm/yellow undertones).
I receive Pillow Talk and the matching lip liner as a present for my 21st and I have cherished it ever since.
Although I don’t favour rose gold, I think that the packaging is beautiful and expensive. I love the ribbed texture and haven’t found the shiny plating to flake or come off at all. It still looks brand new six months later.
The lipstick smells amazing (which may be a negative for those who dislike scented products)! I typically avoid anything with a fragrance, except lip products (although have found that some balms, such as the specific birthday cake flavour of the glossier balm, can irritate me or break me out) as I have very sensitive skin. This lipstick smells expensive of a sweet subtle vanilla which is 100% my preferred smell of anything.
This lipstick is a velvety matte, that some I would say wouldn’t even consider matte, but I love as I find cremes slide/smudge too much and true mattes much too drying. It lasts most of the day, but would need a reapply if you’re eating or if you put a gloss/balm on regularly throughout the day.
It is kiss proof once dried down, but not transfer proof on straws, however this doesn’t bother me.
The shade on me is a ‘my lips but better’ pinkish nude, but the lip cheat does lean slightly pinker.
My only wish is that Charlotte Tilbury would release this shade in matte as a refill, as it is a favourite for so many people and it hurts to have to get rid of the pretty packaging every time I want to replace it.
