Directions
Shake well.
Smooth the skin tint with SPF foundation over skin. Start at center of face and blend outward. Avoid getting in eyes.
To select your shade, choose your skin’s intensity level (from ultra light to very deep) and undertone (cool, neutral or warm).
HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR UNDERTONE
Undertone is the way your bare skin looks and behaves. Which one sounds most like you?
Cool (C) undertones: Bare skin has a rosy tone and burns easily in the sun.
Neutral (N) undertones: Bare skin is more even toned, not too pink or golden.
Warm (W) undertones: Bare skin has a golden or olive tone and tans easily in the sun.

Not as good as expected!
I am 64 and have used Estée Lauder foundations for 34 years. I used Double Wear until I was 50 when it became a bit drying for my skin. I then started to use Re-Nutriv lifting radiance which suited my skin perfectly, but I only use now if I feel like splurging. My favourite now is Futurist Hydra Rescue in Shell Beige. After reading the reviews for this serum makeup I decide to try it, although I wished I had travelled to my nearest Estée Lauder counter to try a sample now. I ordered the same colour I usually use, but this made me look like a ghost and was not the same shade as my Futurist. It disappears after about 5 hours and looks as if there is nothing on my skin. I have tried different ways of applying to my face, but this doesn't make a difference. I would suggest if anyone wants to try this go to your Estée Lauder counter to try first. It's a lot of money to waste, so now I just mix in with a drop of my Futurist to use it up. Never again will I buy ad hoc off the website before I try.

It's okay
I really wanted to like the skin tint, but it just didn't work out for me. Although it did feel light weight, the texture is more and like thicker serum. I do notice that it was patchy and some of the areas on my face. I also don't like that. It made my pores more visible.

I absolutely love this product. It is so lightweight, goes on so nicely you can build it up to medium coverage as well! Stays on all day long! Highly recommended

sticky feel, blotchy mess
Would not recommend.. Feels sticky, blotchy when applied with primer or without.. leaves wrinkles more pronounced.. I tried it thinking it was serum and would be good for my skin.. The feel is awful, yes the color I chose is a good match for summer wear, I wish now I wouldnt have wasted the $$ on this Futurist Skin Serum formula and stayed with the doublewear sheer long lasting formula and ordered it in fresco, now I'm stuck with this mess for summer use.. I now know not to order a winter color in this formula .. never again..

Very light coverage
This foundation is probably the lightest coverage of all the estee lauder foundations, due to its serum, it seems slightly oily when applied and doesnt seem to 'dry' on the skin so would be more suitable for someone with dry skin who wants very little coverage
