Blended through rediscovery, a hero ingredient is magnified for each scent: Oud, Amber, Violet, Iris, Mimosa, Rose and Woods.
Every fragrance and every formula is created as an unicum, telling the story of a place, a moment, a season, and a smell of memory.
Named for a snake’s movement through a forest, the scent is mixed around the note of precious and mysterious oud.
Symbolic of eternity, oud is highly prized for its singular, aphrodisiac and sensual aroma. Laying in the dried Patchouli leaves on the ground, the snake hides.
Leather-like scales slowly draw traces on the snake’s path, tinted with Saffron shades. The snake glides through Oud wood rays. Intensive and deep, the scent is as hypnotizing as the sound of the snake’s voice.

Classy oud scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fragrance is very unique and there is no other scent like it on the market. With first spritz, I first noticed green oud, then I noticed also saffron and patchouli, the fragrance gives me warm and cozy vibes as well as being a little mysterious. I believe all genders can wear this scent as my partner also loves this scent. I often get asked what fragrance I’m wearing when I have this on. The scent is also very long lasting, I would say that it lasts about 8 hours which is more than enough for me for any day out. Overall I love the scent and believe it is worth every penny, even the packaging feels very luxurious and I love the simple bottle design with the detailed illustration on it. Once again another great perfume from Gucci.

Strong scent - long lasting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the packaging and this bottle are beautiful and looks expensive. The fragrance has base notes of earthy oud and patchouli combined with a sweet smooth top not of saffron. The scent to me is strong and lasted the entire day without the need for re applying however it also feels soft and not over powering at all. It’s for both men and women and my husband also tried it out, we both received lots of comments from our friend’s family and co workers about how nice it smelt. It’s luxury in a bottle which you would expect from the brand and the price range.

Smokey scent

I can’t quite put my nose on this scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this fragrance as the whole aesthetic of it is beautiful the bottle the box design but on opening it I found the smell to be bland and lack any Will behind it which was quite disappointing. I also found that after a couple of hours, the smell had pretty much disappeared, which is not like other Gucci scents I’ve had.

Amazing but probably not for everyone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression was - omg, this scent is perfect for my man! It is like someone would close in the bottle all his fav things. To me it smells like smoked whiskey. Quite specific and probably not for everyone but I really like it.
It lasts for a really long time on the skin.
And I need to appreciate the bottle and whole packaging - gives the luxury vibe.

Unisex scent

Lovely bottle and packaging

One for the connoisseurs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Voice of the Snake is not your usual crowd-pleasing offering. It’s definitely an Educated scent for those who know a thing or two about perfumery.
First of all, the fragrance has a very dry and smoky vibe, with the oud having a strong medicinal/antiseptic quality. There is a bit of nose tingling spice in there, along with an earthiness from the patchouli.
It’s moody and dark and brooding, and it settles into a woodsy/leathery scent with hints of dry roses peeking out.
It’s an interesting one. Definitely one of the better oud/wood/leather combos out there. I’d describe it as masculine, but even I as a woman enjoy wearing these kind of scents when I want to feel focused and powerful. I don’t really believe in categorising scents as masculine or feminine anyway.
It’s not an approachable scent, it lasts a solid 8 hours and projects incredibly - leaving a long trail as I walk around.
The presentation is absolutely stunning too. Very classy.
