Not my favorite
Don’t like it as much as the rose hip serum (which I love). This one seems a bit sticky and made me break out unfortunately, so I’m not going to finish the bottle.

I have over ten years in the beauty industry and thank you so much to Beautytap for sending me this product for my honest review and opinion. To preface I am a 41 year old who is starting to show signs of aging, however I am still so incredibly oily. I need a serum that will help with signs of aging, yet at the same time I need a product that I can wear under makeup and not have the makeup melt off throughout the day. I also suffer from scarring and dark spots due to the sun and other UV rays. This product left my skin so soft and supple. I was also able to wear it under my makeup without my makeup melting off. I, however, did not notice any change in my dark spots nor in scarring. I am going to continue use hoping to see more results with those issues. I believe this is a product that one has to be patient with.

Good Product For A Starter Vitamin-C
I have worked as an esthetician for years and the beauty field for even longer, I have tried many different vitamin C serums some fell short from what they claimed to provide for the skin and I do like this one, I will say it’s not my absolute favorite however it’s nice.Some reasons why I liked it was it was a very silky texture and felt soft on the skin. The lactic acid helped smooth out my skin texture overall and the vitamin C gave me a glowy look to the skin.Some reasons I didn’t like it was the smell wasn’t great, kinda sticky like lots of other vitamin C products and I don’t think it drastically changed my skin , more subtle changes.My favorite thing about it probably was the multifunctional benefits from one single product which is nice.Overall, in my experience good not great.Attached is a photo of how it looks on my skin with some layered makeup.

SKIN RESIDUE
I was extremely excited to try this version of Vitamin C @ 20% on my skin. It was highly recommended by my cosmetician at my local pharmacy and I trust her. She has improved my skin greatly! However, no matter how hard I tried to use the C20 Serum, it seemed to leave a surface residue on my skin that I was able to "rub off" with my finger tips. There did not seem to be any penetration into my skin. I changed the order of cleansing and let everything DRY COMPLETELY before putting this serum on my face and then let the serum dry completely before puttiing on the moisturizing cream. It made no difference.
Everyone's skin is different and I realize one size does not fit all. For some people, this may be the best serum they have ever used...but for me, a liquid serum that seems to really penetrate the skin works best.
Love the fact that it is 20% .

Velocity serum
Unreal! 20% encapsulated vitamin c is something I learned the importance of when using this product. Activated by the sun, this vitamin c protects the skin and works to address hyperpigmentation (sun damage) and scars left behind from acne. This is a brightening product that is set apart from other vitamin c products I have used in my 17 years as a medieval aesthetician. The product works best on clean skin, followed by moisturizer and then sunscreen. Kay Burlington velocity serum is formulated with a little bit of lactic acid, which helps with congested skin (blackheads) and also to allow for this product and others to penetrate deeper into the skin where these active ingredients can really do some good work. My skin felt warm and plump after using the first few days, and by the second week of using this daily I noticed that my skin looked brighter overall and wasn’t dull and dry feeling.
