Directions
Apply La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+ Stick 30 minutes before exposure and re-apply frequently and generously every two hours to maintain protection especially after swimming, perspiring or towelling. Shake well before use. Avoid exposure to the sun during the hottest hours of the day. Keep children under 3 out of the sun.

Disappointing
While I did not get sunburn while I used the product, it only lasted for 5 uses. There is such a small amount of product it goes so quickly. After the tube was fully twisted there was a 2cm of product left that I could only get by scraping out. Really wasteful! It also leaves quite a bit of a whitecast on skin. I really wanted to like it, however it just did not measure up.

Sorry, It's the smell
Sorry, I cannot give a 100% review due to the strong smell from the sun stick..
I have purchased other brands of sun sticks and they do not have this overwhelming sun screen smell that I associate with sun lotions./creams.
The sun stick bullet is generous in size and comes in a high standard tube.
I would buy if the peculiar smell could be withdrawn.

Is this suitable to use on lips as a balm/sunscreen?
It can be but it's a bit large. I use this one on the cheeks and nose over my regular sunscreen for extra protection, and also on my lips.
