Hi there, having purchased several tubs of this product over the years as it’s such an amazing product I know exactly what you are talking about. Hi there  There should be a spatula provided  with the product as you correctly say it states  on the box however once or maybe twice at the most there hasn’t been one but I have always saved the washable, plastic spatula from my previous purchase so it’s not caused me any real inconvenience but if you are a first time buyer it can be slightly annoying when no spatula is provided with your purchase. Maybe you could reach out to the Customer Service Dept of Feelunique to ask them to send you a spare spatula as there’s nothing special about the spatula as it’s a generic beauty one which I’m sure they will have plenty of when sampling new products etc. On a positive note you don’t need the spatula for removing excess product as the reason the product works so well is that you only need to use a small amount of product at a time as it’s super concentrated and the tub should last you a very long time depending on usage of course. You should keep massaging the excess product into the hard areas of your feet as not only will the excess product ( so to speak) give you the slip to enable you to give a deep massage if desired but you could also pop on cotton socks overnight to allow the product to absorb overnight for deeper penetration and save your bedding etc from becoming soiled with the product which has a greasy texture but is super effective! I wouldn’t be without this product as it’s the best! The spatula in my opinion is for removing product from the tub  for hygiene reasons so you are not putting your fingers into the tub when you want to use it. I hope this has been helpful. :-))
