This high-performing acid toner harnesses the next-generational power of the PHA - poly hydroxy acid, for daily exfoliation without the irritation, dryness or sticky residue that can sometimes occur with other types of acids (e.g. AHAs like glycolic acid). This is the acid toner without the 'ouch'. Featuring 5.5% gluconolactone, a PHA which matches its exfoliating powers with its 'moisture magnet' action on the skin surface, ensuring the skin barrier is kept feeling hydrated and comfortable. Gluconolactone is joined by another innovative exfoliation technology - prickly pear extract, a natural enzyme activator that helps to induce a more youthful cell renewal process.

Press & Glow is ideal for retinol users: if you're a retinol (vitamin A) fan, you can happily add Press & Glow to your routine as PHA does not sensitise or dry out the skin like AHAs and BHAs - which is often why they are not used together. You'll also find improved, quicker results as PHAs are known to improve the absorption of topical retinoids.

The heavily researched formula can be used every day, twice a day and absorbs instantly - making it the perfect blank canvas for other skin care products or make-up. Simply remove the aluminium cap from the refill and screw on the pump and use the overcap from your original bottle (previous purchase necessary). Directions

Transfer the pump saved from your previous Press & Glow bottle onto the Press & Glow Refill. Twist the top half of the pump anti-clockwise until it clicks to activate. After cleansing in the morning and evening, hold a reusable cotton pad firmly over Press & Glow and push down 3-4 times. Sweep the cotton pad over the complexion, avoiding the delicate eye area. Twist the pump clockwise until it clicks to avoid leakage.
