I wanted to love this
I love the smell and consistency, and for a couple of washes I didn't notice anything amiss. I started to notice small bumps all over my skin and dryness that I've never had before. Now every time I've used it I felt a stinging on my skin, that nothing calms down. Today I went back to my old faithful Kiehls and the texture of my skin is almost immediately back to normal. I then read some reviews it obviously just doesn't agree with some skin types. Shame

Effective, gorgeous smelling cleanser
This is the only product I have found that cleanses my skin really well, actually removes eye make-up including mascara, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling taut and thirsty afterwards. A pleasure to use for evening cleansing. A little goes a long way, so it is well worth the price.

Creamy and luxurious to use.
Regularly use other plantscription products; serum and retinol night moisturiser (both of which I will not be without!) so eventually persuaded myself to try this cleanser for a change when the frothy face wash i had repeatedly been buying (as is lovely!) needed replacing even though it's a steep price increase. Initial thoughts were beautifully creamy and luxurious to use. Face felt fresh and soft after use. But after repeated twice daily use my combination skin prone to clogged and open pores was suffering. T-zone becoming oily and shiny throughout the day and eventuating in a breakout not experienced since late teens! Sadly had to stop use altogether after just a few weeks. Not recommended for oilier skins, but everyone else should love this.

Love this cleanser! I couldn't imagine using anything else to cleanse my skin as it really helped to improve the condition of my skin. I used to have tiny spots on my forehead and it cleared them out!!! I have tried all kind of products before that and nothing has helped me like this cleanser!

Smooth
I had this one alongside with White Tea Cleanser. Both are very good for me:) And I have dry/combination skin. This cleanser is a bit thicker, that's why in title 'smooth'. Would enjoy it:)

Packaging lets it down
I love this face wash, and have been using it and other products in the Plantscription range for several years. However, I have reached the end of the road with the packaging which is TERRIBLE and which is why I am only giving it one star. The bottom line is that it's too big. It's massive to travel with (I buy the smaller tubes in gift sets where I can but they're not always available), and it lasts way too long. The lid snaps off eventually because it is used so many times. But the main thing is that it's impossible to get the face wash out once you get to a certain "emptiness" of the tube. With my current tube, I actually cut it in half to access the product that would no longer squeeze out. You need to wrap it so that it doesn't dry out, but it has lasted me over two whole months longer. Please please please reduce the tube size so that I can go on buying - or at least give the option of buying smaller tubes. Or change the design to a pump, or long and thin, or something that actually works as it should.
