Directions
Apply to clean dry skin as often as needed. Ideal for areas prone to dryness or bumpiness such as arms and legs.
Store between 68-77F (20-25C). Avoid excessive heat. Shake before use. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children.

Nice!
I purchased this lotion today. My go-to lotion for years was the Ashy Skin formula - next to the original - that you discontinued some time ago (still po'd about that). I like the way this feels, I like the slip but I do NOT like the fragrance. It's fake and perfumy smelling, not at all my style. I prefer the fragrance of the original formula. We shall see.....

decent lotion, super strong smell..
I was really excited to try this lotion because I love all of the other palmers products I use. However, I noticed when I opened the bottle, it had a super strong and odd fragrance. I was not expecting this because the rest of the products I have used have nice mild scents. I was hoping once I put this product on my skin that the fragrance would mellow out but instead it has stayed just as strong and fragrant as when I sniffed it from the bottle. I would be cautious if you are sensitive to fragrances — I could definitely see this scent giving someone a headache!

Excellent if you don't mind the smell
Great formula and when used frequently it removes bumps (chicken skin) and general texture. I have incredibly dry skin and this has improved overall texture. I may need to pair with something heavier in winter but daily in summer, this is sufficient. Shame about the smell but it's good value for money, so I'll put up with it!

Unpleasant scent
I bought this as an alternative to a scrub, unfortunately its not as hydrating as the cocoa butter (fragrance free version) and I feel like i have to moisture again after due to dry skin/eczema. Smells like a lemon cleaner, which has put me off wanting to use it. Does help keep my skin smoother but the orange and lemon extracts weren’t needed!

Doesn’t have the exfoliating rough bits in - does it by using AHAs but they recommend you don’t sunbathe for a week after using.

Actinic keratosis beware!
I’m an RN and worked for a Dermatologist who recommended using Palmer’s close to 20 years ago for my lifetime Florida love the sun lifestyle. I have used it everyday since. It has gone through name changes and each time I panic. I have had 2 actinic keratosis and only one squamous cell on my eyelid. The alpha/beta hydroxy is what dermatologists recommend, if they don’t want your business! I have tried just lactic acidosis and the odor and feel on your skin is not pleasant. This never interferes with my perfume and dries to a non-greasy state. It also stays on quite a while even when in the pool. My skin is smooth and without “bumps”. PLEASE Palmer’s, don’t ever quit production.

I mean it works. but why's it smell like that??
so.... to just preface, it DOES make a big difference in my skin and I'm going to keep using it because of that. but I'm really disappointed in the scent - it smells legitimately exactly like lemon pledge instead of something nice like regular palmers cocoa formula. which i have no idea why it would smell that way, I use lactic acid and other AHA products that have either pleasant scents or no smell at all so I'm not sure why this was left to smell like cleaning day. I had the same complaint about the stretch mark massage cream, but that one just smelled like vaguely unpleasant cold cream.
