Directions
Lightly soak a cotton pad and gently apply over the entire face and neck, including the eye area (avoid lash line and eyelids). Do not rinse.
At first, apply every other day and note skin’s response. Then use up to twice daily. For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.

This is a brilliant product...once you learn how to use it to suit your skin. With anything, it's trail and error. I would advise introducing it slowly. I use this twice a week and it smooths out my skin.

Been using this product for months and noticed a massive improvement to the texture of my skin. I have combination skin - dry and acne, and this product hydrates my skin while reducing blemishes.

Should/would it make sense to apply this and then moisturiser? Or better to alternate?
although it does feel slightly oily when applying it, it sinks in and dries down on the skin. Seeing as it is an BHA-exfoliating acid, I think it will dry out your skin if you don't use a moisturizer on the top. The way I use it is apply it on my brake out prone areas (chin area and nose) every day in the evening. Let it sink in for a few minutes until the oiliness had dissipated and then do the rest of my skincare routine with a moisturizer to top it off. If you have sensitive skin maybe start by using it twice a week, then every other day, and maybe even more frequently if needed. You can also use it in your morning routine, but I think twice a day will be overkill for your skin. The Paula's choice customer service team are also very helpful if you have questions about how to use there products.

Hii can I use this with the ordinary niacinamide and vitamin c serum?
You can use vitamin c with niacinamide and niacinamide with salicylic acid but you cannot use salicylic acid with vitamin c as it lessons it’s effects.

I am a 61 year old with dry, flaky skin. Would you recommend this product. I have been looking for a good cruelty free exfoliator for some time but worry about the drying effect.
I never had any issues with drying. It works well as an exfoliant but isn’t over drying. I’d introduce it slowly once or twice a week and then increase usage.
