Penhaligon's story starts with their founder, William Penhaligon. A humble Cornish barber who rose to the Royal Court, trimmed the Shah of Persia’s beard and created the most curious concoctions.

It started with Hammam Bouquet, a slew of fabulous fragrances followed, but his most remarkable creation? A company that would build on his legacy.
