Brushing Tips:
Brush your hair gently, starting from the ends and moving upwards, carefully easing out any knots. Pulling a brush roughly through your hair from top to bottom can worsen tangles, cause breakage and scratch your scalp. Be especially gentle when hair is wet. Wet hair is swollen by up to 30% and rough brushing can cause it to snap.
Drying Tips:
Correct blow-drying will not harm your hair. However, applying heat to hair that is already dry can cause brittleness, breakage and dullness. Hold your dryer about 6 inches away from your hair. Start on a high speed and high temperature, and gradually reduce the heat as your hair begins to dry. It is best for your hair if you leave it slightly damp, or ‘just dry’.
