Product Description

Philip Kingsley Vented Paddle Brush is great for detangling thick, long hair and is ideal for blow drying straighter styles.

Designed to ensure styling & grooming with care and consideration for your hair, the Philip Kingsley Vented Paddle Brush has sizeable holes that allow heat to disperse quickly, which dries hair faster and more evenly meaning exposure to the blow dryer is minimised.

Its widely spaced pins gently grip without tangling and the rounded ends make sure you don't scratch, damage or irritate the scalp. Philip Kingsley Vented Paddle Brush has anti static properties to avoid fly away ends and is cushioned to ensure only gentle pressure to the scalp.

Constructed from light weight maple wood for durability and ease of use, this unique brush can be used for general grooming or blow drying.

Directions of use:
First, remove tangles from wet hair with a wide tooth comb starting at ends of hair and working up towards roots. Blow dry and groom hair using gentle strokes with the Philip Kingsley Vented Paddle Brush and stop as soon as hair is just dry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible brush Bought for my daughter who is 11 years old who has long thick hair but never been dyed or anything so in good condition. I find the brush is heavy, it feels hard on her head and tends to pull the hair to begin with but does smooth it out nice eventually and gets through knots as her hair is also thick. She doesn’t like me using it and we find it useless on wet hair. Definitely not worth £25, barely use it now. Maybe it’s better on coloured hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Hair Brush This is pretty expensive for a brush but I really think it is worth it. It is so gentle on my hair and scalp and the vents keep my hair from overheating when blow drying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love!!!! Love this brush. It does not pull my hair when it’s notty after a shower. I’ve starting using it on my 3 year olds her and she no longer crys when I do her hair as this is such a soft brush and does not pull or tug at her hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hairbrush I have ever used ! Absolutely love this brush! Bought it after reading the good reviews about it AND after purchasing an expensive Mason & Pearson brush from another website which I ended up sending back as it was making my hair really static. This is the best brush I have ever used and at an excellent price too. Also looks lovely on my bathroom shelf with the lovely wooden handle! Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get it, get it now! So how can a brush cost £25? Can it really be worth it? Yes, yes it can! My hair has never been healthier or shinier than when using the Philip Kingsley brush. Drying my hair is so easy now (it’s past my shoulder blades), the vented holes allow the hair to cool quicker whilst blow drying therefore reducing the amount of heat damage. Instead of buying 5 different types of rubbish brushes that’ll break within months invest in this one and save yourself the hassle!

which brush is the best? this or that of aveda?

Asked by: Valentina
Not much in it. The PK brush does have the vent holes and is lovely to use but over time the end knobbles break off, plush one I had in my ‘holiday bag’ totally disintegrated over the time it was left between holidays?? (About 8 weeks) very disappointing as never had this with any other brush. However it’s love lay to use, but then so is the aveda. I’d go for the cheapest.
