Product Description

WHAT IT IS:

Vitamin C is a hero ingredient for skin brightening and powerful multi-functional antioxidant. It works to improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation, dullness and fine lines.

WHAT IT DOES:

Formulated with 30% pure L-ascorbic Acid, THE INKEY List Vitamin C serum helps your skin appear brighter and targets signs of ageing. It also helps to protect against free radicals and pollution. Best used in the AM, the rich, creamy texture gives an instant smoothing effect, making it a great base for makeup.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

• 30% pure stable l-ascorbic acid (vitamin c)

Directions

Can be used AM or PM, but we recommend using in the AM to make the most of its antioxidant properties. Apply a pea-sized amount to face and neck after cleansing and Hyaluronic Acid if using. For a thinner consistency, we recommend mixing with Hyaluronic Acid. Follow with moisturizer and suncreen if applied in the AM.

Ingredients

DIMETHICONE, ASCORBIC ACID, POLYSILICONE-11, PEG-10 DIMETHICONE.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Greasy Extremely greasy, irritates my skin. Bought by accident instead of the 15% serum and its not even a serum, its way thicker. Stings the skin. I have 'normal' skin, not oily or dry, but this made my face Extremely oily and took way too long to sink in, we're talking like an hour. Will not buy again. I don't often write reviews but had to because this product is truly awful.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaves weird reside that comes off This is not very dark skin friendly as it leaves a weird residue and pills immediately. Relatively expensive serum for it to be doing this - there’s not even any recommendations online on how to prevent this. Very disappointed!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good but leaves residue [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice product, but it leaves a chalky residue on the skin, so it's not great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No product in tube ! I’ve only been using this product a week and love it so far, however, there is literally nothing in the tube and I’m going to have to order another. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, but could be better [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Inkey list product range. I use 6 of your products and only have 1 complaint. As with a lot of your products the Vitamin C Serum is fantastic. My issue is with the tube. It's incredibly difficult to get the last 35 - 4-% of the product out of the tube. I wish it came in a jar, like the ceramide moisturiser. I'd happily pay more for the jar if it was available. Great serum though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good one [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was good of my first three tubes, but the fourth time when I got the product, felt like just half quantity inside the tube, same as fifth time, so I stop buying it. I will give it a go again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST VITAMIN C IF YOU HAVE OILY SKIN I used to get another brand vit c with the same formula that was discontinued, I must say this is exactly the same (same formula) and the best if you have oily/shiny skin as the silicones are very mattifying. I hope it won't get discontinued from The Inkey List, I'm so glad I found this brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't deserve any stars, but had to give it one for review to proceed! From new, tube too stiff to squeeze much out, so cut tube open, found a relatively small amount of product compared to size of tube. Misleading packaging!Agree with other reviewers, this is not a serum, it is too thick and cloying, and yes, the taste it leaves on the lips is disgusting. And it stings! The advice on the tube to mix with hyaluronic acid if it stings was hardly reassuring, and I haven't done so. I have nothing positive to say about this product at all, I distrust it and won't be continuing to use it to find out if it works or not. I do not recommend it!!

Does it have silicones in it?

Asked by: Zarina
Hey there, Polysilicone-11 and PEG-10 Dimethicone are listed as ingredients for The INKEY List Vitamin C Serum which are silicones. Hope this helps! Many thanks Katie, Beauty Expert.
