This formulation uses 100% pure Moroccan Argan Seed Oil extracted through a cold pressing that preserves the integrity of the oil's fatty acids, vitamins, phenols (including caffeic acid) and carotenes. Argan oil's main fatty acid content is made up of oleic acid and linoleic acid. The oil supports healthy skin and reduces the appearance of flaking. It also adds soft sheen and strength to hair.

100% works for my dry skin eczema
The back of my hands used to be very dry and developed flaky eczema that itched terribly and lasted weeks. Tried expensive lotions to repair the moisture barrier, nothing worked except this.
The smell is... not great, very strong straight out of the bottle and when applied before bed, my hands would still smell in the morning. But boy howdy it worked. My dry, scaly hands turned hydrated and smooth (even the post-eczema spots disappeared) in under a week (with constant nightly use) after a year or so of scratching and itching. Best part? Eczema STAYS gone, so I just use this sparingly now.
Not recommended for facial use unless you're willing to take a chance with body use first to get used to the smell.

Left looking greasy
Couldn't get on with this. I have used hair oil for years, and I thought I'd give this one a go. Put one 'squeeze' and a half into my hands as I have long, thick hair. I rubbed it between my hands to give it an even application, and it's like the oil ONLY went where I initially lightly put my hands. There isn't a slickness to the texture like some oils, that allow you to glide your hands through your hair.
Then, when my hair was drying, it felt a little crusty and looked greasy. I felt self conscious about it all day. Not a fan, sorry.

In love with this argan oil!!!
Love love love this argan oil. I have super reactive skin and ruined my skin barrier a few years ago with too many harsh products. This was the only thing that saved my skin at the time and one of only a handful of products that doesn’t irritate and/or break out my skin. I will use it forever!!! I’ve looked at other brands of argan oil and most of them have other ingredients added in (that don’t work for me!!). The Ordinary for the win!!

Great organic product for softening the hair
I use this for my hair, and replaced a much more expensive, brand-name product that I was using. This works equally well. I apply a small amount on my curly, coarse, thick hair when it is damp from towel drying. Other reviewers have commented on the scent - I find it a light scent that is earthy, and I cannot smell it at all after other styling products are applied. This is a great product, especially for the price. And love that it is organic!

It’s a nice hair oil
This is the only unscented hair oil I’ve found so far and I do like it. The only issue is it does have a slightly unpleasant smell that smells a bit like sour milk. The smell doesn’t last and I don’t smell it after I finish styling.

Excellent face oil
I have bought this a couple of times. I use it on my face before using a shower. The steam melts the oil into my skin and makes it lovely and smooth. You can see the difference in your skin instantly

Love it for my hair
I put this on my hair ends as my hair is kinda dry. It perks up my ends, gives them protection as well. I apply after every wash.

Strange question but I am out of options. Could you use this product on exceptionally dry hands? I have looked at a variety of hand creams and soaps don't work. Thanks.
Due to its properties it is good for the skin but personally I would look for other options. I am a big user of this but I use it on my hair. It smells really strong on the hands (some have compared it to manure and I kind of know where they are coming from!). It also feels very greasy and I wash it off before I touch anything. My mum has very dry, cracked hands and is currently using a natural multipurpose balm and also trying Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve and O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream. Hope you find something that helps x
