Alcohol-free, oil-free, nut-free, vegan.

Directions
Apply to face AM and/or PM to improve visible brightness and the appearance of skin texture. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. Use sun protection during the day.

This really works!
My facial person mentioned that some of her clients swear by azelaic acid for their rosacea, so I got this one and immediately did not like it. It flaked when being rubbed in, and flaked even more when I put my normal moisturizer over it. The smell is quite mild, but I found that it bothered me, so I devised a plan to toss this in the trash and forget about it, but then it occurred to me to not put it all over my face, as I had the first time, but just to apply it to the areas where my skin is redder.
I did that, thinking in terms of smoothing it on rather than rubbing it in, and the results have been excellent! There was a little bright red spot over one eyebrow that is completely gone, and other areas that have been pink for a long time, like my cheeks, are much less so now. If I am not mistaken, it has also faded some sun (age) spots that are on my left cheek (where the sun comes in the driver's side window of the car). I am now back to putting it all over my face, not a huge amount of it, gently smoothing it on; I put more where the age spots are.
I highly recommend this product for red / discolored skin.

Azelaic Acid cream to clear up Rosacea
I bought the Azelaic Acid 2-3 years ago to treat an outbreak of Rosacea. At that time the dermatologist also prescribed an antibiotic in addition to applying the Azelaic Acid twice a day and I had to take the antibiotic for a month. I still had 2 unopened tubes of the Azelaic Acid when I broke out with Rosacea again. I couldn’t get an appointment with the dermatologist for another month. So I started applying the acid to my cleaned face twice a day for a month. By the time of my appointment, my Rosacea had cleared up and I didn’t have to take the antibiotic. This cream is wonderful, I just ordered two more 100 mg tubes. I will continue using it to control my Rosacea. I couldn’t believe it still worked after 2-3 years sitting on my shelf. Amazing product. Thanks you.

Great product
Been using this product for maybe 5 or more years, day&night. I have sensitive skin, & often redness. If I see a spot coming I apply it various times of the day & it stops it coming out badly. Really happy with this product. It is probably not a product to treat adult acne but it helps with keeping the skin less congested & smaller spots/skin probs under control.

My best rosacea option!
I have rosacea with redness and extreme sensitivity being my primary concerns. I wasn’t seeing much success with Metrogel after several months of using it properly and faithfully.
I decided to give it up and try a daily routine with The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension instead. I started slowly and built up to twice daily along with gentle cleanser and a gentle moisturizer.
While this isn’t a cure the results have been much better, and along with knowing my triggers I have come a long way in the past year! Definitely the best option for me!

This is nice to mix into less occlusive moisturizers. Also for evening out pores. In itself it gives me to much of an oily finish.

It’s a great product!
I am loving this product, I’ve only been using it for a bit, but my skin is softer, looks healthier and my rosacea is less red. It’s disperses into your skin quickly and doesn’t feel greasy or have a strong smell. Strongly recommend!

I bought this a few days ago as I’ve got a lot of acne scarring due to picking at my acne ( not a great idea I know ) but just in a few days it has helped ALOT! I love this so much I might actually buy the bigger one soon. I definitely recommend this. Use a sunscreen and salicylic acid serum with it it works wonderrssss. It’s also great for oily skin:-)

Can this be used as a moisturizer? Or should it be used alongside my day/night creams?

Going by what the brand advise, I would recommend using this product alongside your AM/PM creams. You need to use this product AFTER any water based products included in your skin regime and BEFORE your moisturiser. You can use it either AM or PM, however I would recommend using it in the evening. You do not need to use it twice a day.
Beauty tip - remember to always use a generous SPF to ensure your skin is adequately protected from the suns harmful UVA AND UVB rays.
