The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - high-strength vitamin and mineral blemish formula.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is indicated to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion. A high 10% concentration of this vitamin is supported in the formula by zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid to balance visible aspects of sebum activity.
Alcohol-free, oil-free, nut-free, vegan.

Apply The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% to entire face morning and evening before heavier creams.

Sadly not for me

skip the ordinary!
i began using this along with the other products the skin quiz recommended and it has caused a rash and lumps all over my cheeks. before using the ordinary products, i RARELY broke out and now there is a giant rash all over my face and some bumps on my neck. i also didnt have super sensitive skin before using these products.

Continuing with hope of more improvement
Niacinamide offers many benefits to the skin. Hydration, reduction of pores, Improvement in acne, Improvement of skin tone & texture, balance oil production, and help in anti-aging. I began using this the end of June. I am now going into my fifth month of using it. I can say that my skin does show improvement in the tone but not the texture. I don’t suffer from acne therefore I can’t speak on that. It’s too soon to determine if my skin is benefiting from its anti-aging features. I would definitely say that this is not a hydrating serum. When I apply the serum, the serum makes my skin very dry & tight. I suffer from oily skin, not dry. Within one minute, my skin becomes dry to the point where I have to immediately apply moisturizer. I have not experienced this with any other brand of niacinamide. I’ve decided to continue using the ordinary brand for the time being. I’m now on my second bottle with hopes that I’ll continue to see some improvement. These serums can take time to show additional improvement so I’m willing to give it more time.

Too harsh for my skin
So I thought I had fungal acne. One of the ways to help clear it and also to make pores smaller was said to be this serum. Unfortunately I DO NOT have fungal acne but instead Perioral Dermatitis and rosacea. I have previously reacted this bad to Tretinoin and also anything that has suds. If your skin reacts to this after a week or even sooner definitely go to a dermatologist or stick with azealic acid.

Good on its own, was great with Matte 12
It's good, but the effect is greatly diminished, I used to pair it with the Hylamide Matte 12 - this combo kept me oil free all day, now I'm oily nosed by midday.

Does this cause purging

Hi, Can this be used with La Roche Posay products?

Yes I would use niacinamide first then layer with hyuloronic.

Does this help with uneven skin tone ?
I personally didn’t find that it did. For me it helped reduce breakouts and control oil without being too drying.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% can be used with the The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%, you would apply the Niacinamide first am only and then followed by the Azelaic Acid am and used without Niacinamide pm.
