Natural sodium bicarbonate helps neutralise harmful plaque acids, and stimulates salivation to promote self-cleansing and reduce the formation of tartar. Menthol freshness.
Weleda Salt Toothpaste is slightly alkaline and neutralises caries-promoting acids, particularly after meals. Half an hour after cleansing the teeth the normal pH is restored. The slightly salty taste is complemented by a mixture of essential oils for long lasting freshness.
Weleda is a cruelty-free brand; they do not test any of their products on animals.

Directions
Squeeze 1 to 2 cms of Weleda Salt Toothpaste on a dry or slightly moistened toothbrush.

Healthy and Clean
Unusual texture, not foaming, but mouth and teeth feel really clean. Haven't used it yet for long so can't say much more other than it seems a good product.

Best natural toothpaste ever
This is my first natural toothpaste and I’m so far enchanted by it.
At first, it does taste salty as it is laden with salt and sodium bicarbonate but after you brush your teeth for a good while (let’s say at least 5 minutes, like a pro) and rinse your mouth, your teeth will feel super clean and your mouth refreshed!
I actually never feel like my mouth is smelly after many hours, and that is all thanks to this powerful toothpaste. Such a holy grail.

Third tube.
The first time I used this, I had the distinct impression that it was the first time my teeth had ever been truly clean. Now I'm on the third tube and been using for I think two years, and I now use a tiny bit of the salt in the night and a bit of sensodine in the morning. Best toothpaste I've ever used, tastes like you'd expect salt to taste, so long as you spit it out properly. I have also occasionally used it with my toddler in micro amounts but understandably they don't like it much. - Shouldn't replace regular dental care.
