Not cool pink
I bought this lipstick because the original pillow talk is not a cool shade & it doesn't suit me. When I got it, it looked nothing like a cool pink shade. It was a creamier, lighter version of the original & it makes me look very washed out. This has been mentioned by others. Giving it a 3, only because it feels nice on the lips.

Seems like a drugstore lipstick
Ordered the Pillow Talk Fair 'Kissing' formula as it seemed would be moisturizing and creamy instead of dry, matte lipsticks. It does not apply soft and creamy as I thought. Just an ok lipstick and seems like a drugstore lipstick. Would not order again. Far too expensive for what it is.

I found the original Pillow Talk too brown/purple for myself, as I have fair skin, blue eyes and blonde hair. The new fair shade is just perfect, not too pink or too light. I used with the Pillow Talk fair lip liner, it gives a beautiful frame. The creamy formula is very good too. A real treat.

this beautiful lipstick reminds me a little of a limited edition that Charlotte did a few years ago called Valentine. It’s a really lovely light shade of pink with just a discernible cool tones and very very very plumping indeed! I have worn it for four hours and have sipped drinks and eaten salad with dressing, checked in my mirror, and still perfectly in place. I have golden blonde hair blue eyes very pale skin and for me this is my new every day every evening colour. The saturation is very soft with a lovely sheen that enhances the poutiness of lips it doesn’t have any discernible scent and as always, comes in one of Charlotte‘s beautiful signature lipstick cases . having read the reviews I was hesitant to commit to buying yet another lipstick as I have so many but I’m so glad that I did! This truly is the most delicious shade of pink. I can’t detect any peach whatsoever but of course it will depend on our individual lip colour

Far too pale
It doesn't look like the colour shown in the swatch or video, it's not a great colour on me at all. I have very pale skin, blonde hair, blue eyes, and this makes me look as though I've put concealer on my lips rather than lipstick! It feels nice but looks awful.

Not the pale nude it implies
I was so excited when I saw there was a 'Fair' version of Pillowtalk...as a pale person I really struggle to find 'nude' anything. This isn't as pink as the photo implies, more of a peachy pink so although it us marketed as a nude for us pales...I don't know anyone who has lips that colour. The lip pencil is also a completely different shade...a cool pink. Disappointed, especially for the cost. And thanks for the shade testers that start at 3...further ensuring that I'm unlikely to spend so much, given you can't even give me shades I'm actually likely to try!
