Rated 1 out of 5 by from Break out I first used the Mela B3 face wash and serum and loved them. Then decided to add the SPF hoping to achieve better dark spot results. It broke me out in spots over the 2 weeks I used it, unfortunately. As soon as I stopped it, the spots went away. I found out it alone was the cause, after forgetting to pack it when I went on holiday. Used it again and the spots returned within a day. They are not acne spots, more like fungal acne. So disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but not great under makeup [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this La Roche-Posay Mela B3 SPF30 Moisturiser for dark spots for a few weeks now. Making sure to wear a daily SPF was one of my skincare musts for this year so this product came at the right time. I received it from Influenster alongside the anti dark spots serum from the same range. I found the cream absorbed well into the skin and it also absorbed well on top of the serum but my makeup did not sit well on top of it. My foundation wouldn’t blend as well and looked patchy. Without makeup, the moisturiser felt nice on the skin and my skin felt hydrated. Don’t think I would purchase once I run out as it’s quite pricey for a small tube and it’s not great under makeup up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MELA B3 SPF 30 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cream is really lovely, it feels really luxurious on my skin. I have used it on both my face and hands. My hands are quite badly scarred from my job and I have really noticed a difference in them since using the cream! I have tried it on my face under makeup but much prefer it when I can leave my face bare because I didn’t feel my makeup went on as well over the top. However I have been using it on the weekend or after my shower and it’s so beautiful on your skin, it’s lovely and light but really moisturising. I have been using it along side the B3 serum and I’m noticing a difference in my uneven skin and marks but I don’t know if it’s the cream, the serum or probably a mixture of the both! The cream soaks in lovely as well and doesn’t leave a think white residue like some products do. I would also like to point out the SPF30 inside the cream which is amazing because you don’t need a separate SPF. Over all I would recommend this product along with the Serum, they have reduced scarring and dark spots on both my face and hands and are really lovely products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So disappointed Pigmentclar has been replaced I have been loving Pigmentclar which has been great for my sensitive skin and dark spots with the SPF which was essential. It appears you have replaced it with Mela, which contains Arachidyl alcohol and Arachidyl Glucose which is often derived from Peanuts. Why?? For someone allergic to nuts and constantly looking for safe skin products without Almond oil, Argan oil, Macademia oil etc and now you decide to use peanut oil. So disappointed, Pigmentclar really worked, it didnt need changing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the same as Pigmentclar!! I’ve used Pigmentclar for years and loved it for its pigment treatment but mostly because it also has SPF 30. I switched to the new version and it just isn’t the same.. the cream is much thicker and more yellowish but the biggest issue is that I now seem to get sunburnt when out for 2h which never happened before with Pigmentclar.. something is off.. doesn’t seem it has SPF in the bottle although it says it does!!
