The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser 150ml
Product Description
A gentle cleansing product formulated to target makeup removal whilst leaving the skin feeling smooth and moisturized. The formula incorporates Squalane, alongside other lipophilic esters that are gentle, moisturizing, efficient in dissolving makeup and facial impurities and increasing the spreadability of the product. When rubbed between your palms for approximately 10-30 seconds, the product undergoes an important textural change from a balm-like consistency to a clear oil-like consistency. This allows the emulsifying sucrose esters in the formula to trap and blend the dissolved makeup and facial impurities with water for rinsing. Being soap-free, this formula is designed to be gentle enough for daily use, without over-drying the skin.
Directions
- Dispense product into hands.
- Rub together to warm the product, allowing it to melt into an oil.
- Massage well onto dry face and rinse with warm water.
- If irritation occurs, rinse off, cease use, and consult a physician.
- Use only as directed on unbroken skin.
- Patch testing prior to use is advised.
- Keep out of reach of children.

Would prefer a pump rather than the squeeze bottle
just used it for the first time over the last few days. It does not sud up, which is nice. My skin felt moisturized and clean at the same time. I do not wear makeup so can not really say much for that, but I think it may do well as the first or second wash just because it definitely feels thicker than most of the cleaning products I have used on my face. Probably because of the squalene, so an oil base is usually good for makeup removal. I use to wear makeup years ago.

Does the job!
An order or two back, I ordered the three face cleansers to try out. I definitely preferred this one the best. I found the product in the other two came out too quickly and ended up using more than needed with each usage. I also find that the Squalane Cleanser removes makeup the best. I appreciated being able to buy a trial package of the three so that I was able to compare with out a great expense.

Not my favorite cleanser.
I have now used all the cleansers in the Originary range and I can't say I love this. I was using as a regular cleanser, but feel it leaves your skin feeling weighed down, as if yiu have just applied a product to the surface of the skin. I then used this to double cleanse in replace of a cleansing oil, because I feel that my skin is not properly clean. And I don't think there is much product in the package, seems to run out fast.
It is the least favourite cleanser in the range.

Excellent cleanser
Love this cleanser. It removes makeup, doubles as a quick "mask" (I leave it on while I make my bed and brush my teeth) and leave my skin feeling well hydrated. And clean.

I love this. It’s so great for gently cleansing and removing make up. No stinging eyes. I just massage onto my dry face and wipe off with a hot cloth. My favourite!
