Competition winning star of our #UniqueChristmas campaign Gemma, also known as ‘London’s lesbian sweetheart’, makes a sweet comeback for Valentinine’s Day. This time, the nurse who is currently studying for her Masters, joins us with her fiancé, TV producer Megan. Having met on Tinder three years ago the pair are newly engaged and looking forward to a lifetime of love, laughter and bickering over the price of tea-bags.

“I think love is just comfort and laughing. I just feel so comfortable and happy and myself around Megan all the time.”

Despite their first date ending in an accidental £300 taxi fare, this pair was hooked from the start, 100% believing in love at first sight. Another dating app win, proof that it really does happen, marketing specialist Kerry and risk assessor Tim are now engaged. After three Covid induced cancellations, they’re hoping to get their ‘big fat Indian wedding’ as well as a church ceremony this year. Fingers crossed!

“It was love at first sight and whilst we are opposites, everybody says opposites attract, I think in this instance without being too corny, it did really happen and work for us.”

Sisters Sacha and Jazmine know that whoever comes along, they will always be each other's soulmates. As with most siblings, the disagreements come and go, but the love remains strong. Singer and songwriter Sacha, who applied through the #FindMeUnique casting call, says that she’s the needy one and always wants cuddles – Jaz pretends she hates it. In their family, love is looking out for one another, lots of food and lots of laughter.

“I feel like there's so many definitions we could pull on, but I think love is just when someone is there for you unconditionally.”

Martha, who is single and extremely fabulous, is joined by her significant other – an adorable ginger kitten named Morris. She hasn’t found a Mr, Mrs or Mx. Right yet, instead the PHD student is focusing on something more important, self love and kitty cuddles – whether he wants them or not. Martha says that Morris is her dream partner because, when he isn’t trying to eat her plants, he’s a very good listener.

“My unique relationship status is that I'm single, but I'm very happy and I'm very much in love with my cat.”

Mother and son, Laura and Dash, have more than their striking blonde hair in common – they’re bound by a shared passion for makeup and manicures. Dash says their love is unique because they hang out like best friends. Laura understands that some parents might be nervous about having a child that pushes the boundaries of gender, but she celebrates Dash’s right to be an individual.

“Dash is very special because he knows exactly what he likes, stands up for what he believes in, and he has an amazing personality.”

Makeup artist and influencer Jaydeen is joined by her hometown sweetheart, Ben. With a big move to London on the cards, she says Ben is supportive of all her dreams and ideas – big or small. They aren’t worried about going long distance for a while; they think it’s important to champion each other’s careers and goals. The definition of smitten, the both value kindness and affection - the only thing they disagree over is pineapple on pizza.

“Love, to me, is something really unique that you can only feel for that one person and it’s really powerful.”
